As the saying goes - "This too shall pass." When we tell ourselves the anxiety we're feeling will go away, we have an easier time letting go of it and this it letting go of us.
It's so true, though of course easier said than done. One of my favorite mantras I use is "I can do anything for 60 seconds." Rinse and repeat as many times as necessary.
YES. Beautiful. Indeed, it's a work in progress. I know when I was in my first anxious situation, it was so hard and felt like drowning, but it got easier with practice. Now it's like, "Oh, it's you again. Let's go for a ride." XD
Appreciate the kind words! Yes, I've been following Matt's work for many years, but seeing his Beau is Afraid review is what prompted me to ask if he wanted to do the questionnaire. Love how that came together.
I've been reading the e-galley of Opposable Thumbs as well and it's fantastic. Can't wait until other folks can check it out!

Agreed. Ebert changed the game in many ways and I'll always appreciate him for that. His later blog work is something really special as well.
100% agree. Would be super interesting.
